Re: vplus useless with movies

This will be resolved as far as I know by July. The problem is, from my understanding, that currently the PIN system requires you to enter interactive mode to enter the PIN and then watch, and you cannot pause/rewind/fastforward in interactive mode. There is a new method for entering the PIN which solves this, but it needs to be working on all boxes before they can change over. This is happening gradually as the new EPG software is distributed, and once that's done, the problems will disappear (you will still have to enter a PIN though, but after that, it will be problem free).

As a temporary workaround, instead of watching the film live, set it recording, then watch it from the recording menu. You can pause, fast forward, rewind as per usual. It's not perfect, but it'll hopefully keep you going until July when they should have sorted it out.

Hope this helps

Re: vplus useless with movies

Thats good news.

It is disappointing to not be able to pause the movie, say if someone knocks at the door, thus missing the program.

Lets hope the update doesnt take long...
