NTL Top Box + Xbox 360 = Agh

I have an NTL box which goes into the TV via scart. I plug my Xbox scart into the input scart on the NTL box. Apparently when the NTL box detects something on that scart it should display it but so far no dice. When I turn the NTL box off I see a quick flash of the Xbox screen then it goes black. Works fine with a DVD player in place of Xbox etc, pretty baffled - anyone help ?

Thanks

Dan

Why not get a SCART switcher?

I'm confused now, I tried directly plugging my Xbox into the TV and no joy... hmmm.

Re: NTL Top Box + Xbox 360 = Agh

Ok I have an NTL ( Pace ) TV box. It has the input and output scart sockets. The output goes to the TV obv. If I plug a DVD or VHS player into the input scart on the NTL box it works fine, but when I go to plug the Xbox into it nothing. When I turn off the NTL box via remote it flashes then disappears ( xbox screen that is ). It's defo not the Xbox

Is there a way to force the NTL box to just send the output signal - if it displays the screen for a flash it's obviously getting the signal.

Thx, Dan.
