VOD Programme Selection

How do VM decide what will be on VOD.

Mrs W&C has been watchng Celebrity Masterchef for weeks. All this week she has watched it on VOD. Tonight was the final and its not on VOD. The two programmes after it on the same channel are on VOD.

How can VM put a series on VOD but miss the last one?

That's spooky, I was only thinking the same today when I noticed my catch-up OD hasn't been updated with any new content since Tuesday once again. The question of how the updating was done crossed my mind too. One would hope it was an automated, pre-programmed process. The varience of the content and the hap hazard frequency of updating seems to rule that out.

Could VM be so skint that they are reduced to a couple of chaps racing round the head-ends on push bikes with a few boot legged DVD's to load on the servers using a kind of rota system as they can't get round them all on a daily basis.
