its just a month, seems like theyve gone back to when they used to give a free channel for a month to entice subs to subscribe.

Can't see people rushing to subscribe to these channels after the free month.

Hope you enjoy the programmes. But my point is that if VM want to encourage us to subscribe to additional channels by giving us free tasters then they must excite our interest by offering new channels which have a broad as possible appeal across the network.

Would have been nice if VM at least told us these channels would be free for the weekend. I didn't even get round to watching them...

I really enjoyed having these channels. Virgin should supply more foreign channels for free. We already have the German, French, and Italian ones...

Re: Set Max/Set Asia Free to Air

Is it VM's choice or Sony ET's choice about making these channels free? If its Sony ET's choice, then I don't see why some pple find it a problem!

Re: Set Max/Set Asia Free to Air

I think Deutche Welles is on the old Telewest platform.

It is a joint marketing collaboration to have a freeview so they can sell lots of subscriptions to it and gain more viewers
