Re: Who has a HDTV yet?
No point at the moment, HD DVD machines are way beyond my budget, HD content on VM has still got a long way to go. May be later.

Re: Who has a HDTV yet?
Voted no.
Currently got a Tosh 32" w/s CRT but it is about 7 yrs old.
So far the picture has been perfect (especially when you know how to get into the advanced setup and can fart about with the pin-cushion and barrel distortion and rotation settings) but when the time comes I'll probably get another Tosh, as long as they're doing OLED. I think Samsung are the leaders in OLED at the moment, but give it a couple of years and it'll be the next big thing (assuming they can get a stable blue)

Reason: the 'swear' filter is a little strict (tut!)

Re: Who has a HDTV yet?
Im waiting for more content before I buy even on more expensive panels you can tell an sd image is being upscaled.
For my movies however I use my projector which as a res of 1280 : 1024 isnt HD but if I view a HD source(x264) the image is mint and with a 2.35:1 movie I get 73 inch across the diagonal and with a 1.85:1 its even bigger

Yes got cheap Bush 32" ages before we got V+. Improvement in SD makes it worth while. HD is the icing on the cake.

Re: Who has a HDTV yet?
Got a couple of 720p untis and recently got a 1080p res projector.
I have had HD at home since 2004 (Euro1080), and at one point had both TVDrive and Sky HD.
