NTL SMT2100c Sound Problem

NTL SMT2100c Sound Problem
Can anybody help, just recently the sound has gone on my NTL cable box. It ia an SMT2100c, I've tried different scart leads, coax cable, even check sound was set to 10 in the engineering menu, don't know what else to do. TV volume is set at max, cable box volume is set to max. I'm pulling my hair out!

sounds like a problem with your boxes sound output is it just on one channel or other channels as well. you may have to ring up faults

well if it is scart and rf fiddle about with the cable input wire, if that doesn't solve it ring faults on 151

If you have swaped the scarts sockets and leads its a call to faults good luck
