Just got this letter: Special offer TV for £1 a month!
I just got the below letter from VM saying i can get digital TV added to my current package(XL BB + £11 phone) for only £1 a month!
It says i get 85 top channels, so exactly what tv pack are they offering me for £1 a month? It also doesn't tell me when this offer ends.
What's the catch!?!

I don't know if you are aware of it, but your name is on that document.

It looks like they're offering you the 'L' package. I say go for it!

Re: Just got this letter: Special offer TV for £1 a month!
Looking at this it says that you should already be able to get (or possibly negotiate)size M TV free with your phone. The next is size L (over 83 channels) normal cost being £11.50 which is presumably the one being offered to you for £1.00.
They offer you a 30 day opt out which I take to mean that if you accept the offer you will be on a 12 month contract for the TV at the quoted £1.00 per month. As none of our contracts with Virgin are for more than that it seems that you would have TV size L for £25 set-up plus £12 for the year. Cool.
You can always cancel after the 12 months is up.

Re: Just got this letter: Special offer TV for £1 a month!
here is a list of the channels on the 'L' package i think it is definetly 'l' because it says over 83 channels and your letter says near enough that

Yes i know i could get the free tv pack but haven't bothered since it's similar to freeview since they removed sky one.
It does look like a good deal so will probably give them a ring on monday.

Someone else must of been offered the same deal.

Is it only for 12 months and then after that you have to pay full price or cancel?

Say u are interested but dnt like the fact u are having to pay for installation, especially since it costs 2 times the cost of the package for the year! I am sure they can waive the charge
