as with most of you my trouble started when they axed sky one etc..
then when sky decided to alter the movie channels my problems got bad. our second box never had a pin activated. which wasnt really a problem as i never watched SM9. but as all the channels were now pin protected i had to do something. rung them up. told them my smart card number and couldnt find a box number they ask for. usual rubbish about how my complaint has been noted and someone will call back. they never do. we axed the movie channels and sport last week. then our second box died. kaput. same rubbish, you phone, blahblahblah. now today the movies nd sport are gone on the working box. along with 90% of the channels and it says smart card invalid. i really am fed up with this crap.

ring 150,either the smart cards gone faulty or,more likely,the card reader is gimped on the box,either way you need a tech visit,good luck

Unless you have 2 separate accounts the movies & sport package will have been removed from both boxes, when you cancelled, it can sometimes take a couple of days to 'kick in'

yes both boxes originally had movies and sports. the second box has been dead for over a week. so that was our first problem. now when they axed the movie and sport channels they seem to have axed the lot. it's cause the boxes are old i guess though i think both have already been replaced once.
the thing that makes me mad is that at least with ntl i spoke to a welsh person who seemed to know a little. ( or a south african who didnt) but now it seems i'm talking to robots in india who just "excalate the problem". in other words just fob me off to get me off the line.

btw do they come out after 6pm or on saturdays?

with the msg youre getting on screen you NEED a tech out,4pm is latest call for saturday,but ive been doing sundays (north west) on and off since christmas so ask if theyre working sun in your area,be quick though cause limited No of techs will be working so limited amount of jobs available
