Hi people,
Since I had the upgrade to my samsung box to the VM software, on most channels (not channel 1 2 3 or 4 though) I am getting a horrible quality picture.
I have a samsung box but I am also getting constant lock ups of the picture as well, sometimes it will come up stating my smartcard is not inserted and lock the picture other times it will just lock the picture with no message. (these locks can last up to 3 minutes at a time others are shorter)
I also keep getting messages saying
"Just a moment we are updating some settings so you won't be able to use your remote"
This happens about 3 times day!
I am at the moment having to reboot the box once a day to resolve constant lock ups when switching channels also.
The box is kept in a well ventalated area but even then the box gets mighty hot.
I have also tried cleaning the smartcard with no differance.
Everytime I call VM customer support they can only advice to reboot the box! They have even stated they won't send an engineer out for this either so I'm left with a crappy picture with constant lock ups!
