Lines on screen when watching VOD

Every time I watch a show On Demand I get horizontal lines running across any solid blocks of colours. When watching normal TV or V+ recordings the picture is fine so it can't be anything wrong with the TV or with the connections. Any ideas?

I have that too - does the screen get darker and brighter repeatedly? I phoned Virgin up, they told me the signal in my area (Harlow, so I think I come under Cambridge) wasn't upgraded or something, and it would be fine in 2 weeks time. That was 3 weeks ago.

Hi Shungho, yes, the colour is not consistent so sounds like the same issue. My area (SE1) isn't even supposed to be VOD enabled yet so I'm not complaining too much, but fingers crossed it'll get sorted soon.

I thought everywhere was VOD enabled by now? Still, should'nt really expect it to go smoothly, considering the service provider...:P
