Samsung STB - New EPG - ????

Hi - Can anyone help - Ive been trawling through the forum and searching the threads but can find no answer!

I'm ex NTL area - have V+ downstairs & Samsung upstairs -
both have new Virgin EPG!

My EPG on Samsung box only shows 1 day, no days ahead - so I can't set reminders in advance - I'm sure that you could get 7 days before the software upgrade and am a bit confused!!

No probs with V+ EPG, just the Samsung !!

Any ideas... please????

Re: Samsung STB - New EPG - ????

The Old EPG covered 3 days (I think). NTL stopped using 7 day guides about 3 or 4 years ago, as the older Pace boxes couldn't cope.

The new EPG (apart from v+) is 1 day. The V+ EPG is 7 day.

Re: Samsung STB - New EPG - ????

Hi - thanks for your quick reply!

A 1 day EPG doesn't seem adequate - are there any plans to increase it as per freeview epg's etc. ? If not at least I have my V+ .

(It's just a matter of convenience - sometimes it's nice to sit in bed and watch stuff and I've forgotten that I set a reminder for something downstairs - It would be cool if all the stb's could comminicate with each other - any plans for that in future????)
