WTF!? Conference play-off final on SSN

Just watched a great semi-final between Oxford vs Exeter, and then they announce that the Conference play-off final is on Sky Sports News!

Cheeky buggers!

Think Sky are rubbing it in the nose of VM customers? If so then that is dirty. Lets all go kick Ruperts baws in!

To be fair on Sunday there are two premiership games, live cricket and live tennis on at the same time as the final.

The last Premiership games are this coming Sunday, on the 13th. Conference play-off final is on the 20th.

I'd rather see Exeter vs Morecambe than any of that lot.

Just checked skysports.com now and realised that all this coverage was on. Still, let's kick Ruperts baws in anyway.

Complain to the watchdog Ofcom so they are forced to provide Sky sports News during this time to VM at no charge to VM.

Some people subscribe to sports channels not just to watch that rubbish premier but other content. This is simply not acceptable from SKY. Suspect they are using it to try and rub the noses of those who dare to say with VM.

Why do you suspect that? Its not like they have put it on SSN and aren't showing live sport on another channel

How do you expect them to show it on their 4 Sports Channels when at the same time there is.

SS1 Live First Test England V West Indies
SS2 Live Heineken Cup Final
SS3 Live Final ATP Hamburg Masters
SSX Live First Test Bangladesh v India

Where do you suggest they show it?

I'm sure it will be repeated on SS later.

I think the large Indian/Bangladeshi population in this country would be some what interested in the cricket game..................

although I am all for moving the tennis.

Got to admit I prefer footy to tennis but it takes all sorts I suppose..... But a thought just occured to me... why isn't Sky Sports News a part of the Sky Sports package ? I'm sure there is a perfectly logical reason why it isn't, but would make sense to me.

Re: WTF!? Conference play-off final on SSN

Don't folks ordinarily have a freeview box these days, or an integrated TV ? SSN is still on Freeview for the moment, is it not ?
