Upgrading from Analogue to Digital

I want to upgrade from Analogue to Digital.

What kind of deal will customer services offer.

Been a customer since 1998, tempted to move to Sky.

Need some advice.

There are a lot of good offers if you have more than one service Skys offers are also good but to get the good boxes you have to pay something

If you like sport VM don't have the SKY interactive on their Sky Sports feed, big bummer!

I resisted 'the change' thinking it would cost me more per month, as it happens, I save £4.50 a month against my old analogue setup and am on L TV now.

Re: Upgrading from Analogue to Digital

HI, I moved from analogue to digital, agreed in February, the V+ arrived early March. The problem I had was that the guy I rang in sales apparantly made a mistake, and the contract I was sent was different to that agreed. When I rang to find out what was happening, I was informed I could not have the deal I had been offered, and after much discussion, I had to reduce my broadband from 4 to 2 meg to help pay the difference, (I am a pensioner, and do not have unlimited funds). This sparked off a number of problems, including the billing, which is still not right.
Remember that the £11 you now pay as line rental, was split off from the other charges late last year, and may not be mentioned when agreeing the knew deal, but it still has to be paid. I have three times rung to sort things out, the last time asking for the charges to be sent in writing. I was given an email address, and wrote asking for confirmation of the charges which has yet to be answered, (a week ago). I am now waiting to see what I am going to be charged next month.
Be careful, and try to make sure the offer is complete with what you want. Personally, I wish I had stayed as I was, but then others on this forum have had no problems it seems. I have in fact also been a customer for over 10 years, originally with Nynex, and this is the first "spate" of complaints I have made, so I do not consider myself a moaner.
