Night Stalker availability times on On Demand

my wife and I watched the first Episode of the new Night Stalker in the Bravo Section of On Demand and enjoyed it.

We go back to watch episode 2 this evening, but now only Episodes 5 - 8 are on there. On each of these episodes it states that the prorammes expire in six hundred odd days, so how come the first 4 episodes have gone after such a short time?

But I'd like to just point out it's probably best not to get too attached to the new Night Stalker anyway...it was cancelled after only 10 episodes were made. Pity, as it had potential. I loved the original series, & this new one was created by Frank Spotnitz, one of the main X Files writers.

That's true, but at least you can watch the whole of the two parter - instead of ABC canning it with immediate effect AFTER screening the first part of a two parter
