Can you receive the available HD broadcasts on a V+ box without an additional subscription. If so what is the number of BBC HD who are doing trials at the moment. Also would a HD TV switch automatically between HD and non-HD programmes without configuration?

Re: High Definition

If youve already got a v+ box then your already paying the high def subscription. I dont know what channel its on. Maybe if you just browse through them you might find it.

Re: High Definition

Your not paying any more for HD (YET), on V-box its BBC channel 108, not a lot on it mainly the same "test" film, but they do put other progs on it, you just have to check daily to see what theve got. ive youve got an Hd set, all the programmes, non hd as well come via the HDMI input.you dont have to keep switching. there is some VOD HD, but it not all that great, some seems HD, But "Blue Planet" defininatly isnt.

Re: High Definition

If you have a V+ then press the Home button and go into the On Demand section where you will find a selection of HD programmes and films.
