Using email via the tv
When we had telewest cable we bought a keyboard so we could use the email function through the tv, i was wondering if the keyboard we bought when we had telewest would work on the virgin service, i know the keyboards smewhere i just gotta find, has anyone tried it

If you mean could you use the keyboard with the V+ box, then I think the answer is no, as the remote control commands are different.
If you mean using the keyboard with the existing PACE box, then it should still be possible. (I can't try it, as I've upgraded to the V+ box....)

sorry forgot to say that we have the standard virgin box or the samsung one, ill see if i can find it and see if it will work

If it's a different STB (PACE vs. Samsung) then there is a chance it might not work. (You wouldn't expect your Samsung TV remote to work the Panasonic television would you?)

I tried the telewest keyboard and it doesnt work, well it could be the keyboard thats not working,

If you are saying you had a Telewest Pace STB and you now have a Virgin Samsung STB then the keyboard will not work.

when we had telewest we had a telewest stb, not sure what make and now we have a samsung stb, it was a long shot 2 try the keyboard,
