Sky 3, Sky Sports News and Sky Travel are still available on Freeview for the time being. It was only VM that pulled it off there platform. Saying that Freeview have to remove these later this year.

I'm afraId sky travel isn't available on freeview, and those channels might not necessarily dissearpear from freeview. I understand this is subject to an ofcom investigation first.

Virgin have nothing to do with those channels on freeview. Sky announced earlier this year that it wanted to start its own dtt system, like freeview. However in doing so it wanted to withdraw sky three, sky news and sky sport news. This as you can imagine has caused major controversy, and now the bbc, who help run the freeview consortium is helping lead an investigation with ofcom into this.

Sorry was'nt meant to blame VM because i think they are doing a great job. I was meant to put a comma after saying that and before the word freeview. Oops my mistake, sorry for the misunderstanding and upsetting some posters.
It was meant to read <It was only VM that pulled it off there platform. Saying that, Freeview have to remove these later this year.>
It was meant to be read that Freeview have to remove them eventually not that virgin have said they need to be removed. Having reread it now I can see what the problem was.
Sorry
