Movies and Pins

Sorry for my ignorance. Can someone tell me the idea behind the Pin numbers on all the Movie Channels, when they operate and if there is an over-ride available. We're all adults in my house and it is agravating.

Re: Movies and Pins

I think Ofcom set the rule so I'm afraid there's nothing you or Virgin Media can do to prevent using a pin number...

Re: Movies and Pins

Ofcom is behind it

And no you cannot turn it of in any menu, and you have to enter it even if you leave the film you are watching and then go back to it.

A SW update is unlikely

Re: Movies and Pins

Well I've had enough of this, so I cancelled the movie package this morning. I've always had the movie's from day one, but I can't cope with all this pin number business.

Re: Movies and Pins

Christ that was quick. I only just went to the loo and have had 3 replies - not the ones I wanted unfortunately.
Do the channels that have the Pin No.s (most of them) have a watershed or for only certain certificates or are they on all the time?
