Customer Service!! What Service

Hi all,

Been following the threads on the forum for a couple of months now and looking at some of the issues being mentioned by members couldn't believe how bad (or incompetent) customer service was.

Having been an ex ntl customer for 8 years, having all tv services and 4mb broadband I finally took the plunge and ordered the VIP package.

Had it installed saturday (unfortunately I had to go into work so left my wife in charge) and what a mess I came back to.

The V+ isn't working. I get the error message 'not subscribed error 2001' please speak to CS. I phoned saturday afternoon and told it could take 24 hours for the 'hit' to reach me. (isn't technology quick these days)

Sunday afternoon still no V+ and the same error message. Spoke to CS again and thay said 2nd line faults had been informed and they would phone back in 3-5 DAYS. I then started to complain and have a bit of a moan and groan, next thing the line goes dead and I've been cut off.
Can any of you give me any advice on what course of action to take next.

Yours in anticipation

Already thinking of ditching VM for SKY

I had exactly the same problem and they sent an engineer out, but they didnt have to and it was a waste of his time really because when he got here he said he actually phoned cs and got them to activate their end and thats all they needed to do

Should have added that my old samsung stb has been installed upstairs and the signal was sent to that box instead.
