there is, usually, someone who can answer that type of question, in this forum, my understanding is that devices which previously allowed access to the 'bypass' analogue signals, may no longer work.
signals from an external aerial into the 'RF in' are a different matter, and can often be combined with the digital feed.
- the RF 'out' will display the 'combined' signal, in each case

How about if i used a scart to rf modulator/converter from the 2nd scart output from the v-box and pluged the rf cable to second telly?
Thanks for your help

Currently, the bypass channels on cable are useful, this will not be available much longer

Re: Help with connecting 2nd telly please
You can take the video scart output from the V+ box and plug it into a scrt to uhf convertor box supplied by maplins for £24.99 and that will give you a uff output you can connect to another tv's coax input but you will only get the digital channel. I you want the 5 seperate analog channels + the digital channel you will need to unplug the cable feed going into the V + boax and use a satellite splitter to allow you to provide a feed for the v+ box and another second feed for the 5 analog tv channels. Now plug this second feed into the aerial connection input of the maplin uhf modulator box, plug the video scart lead from the v+ box into the uhf modulator and hey presto the output will give you 6 channels you can feed into another tv - the 5 uhf analog channels, bbc1,2, STV or (analog itv),Channel 4,channel5 and a uhf digital channel.

Re: Help with connecting 2nd telly please
Just so you know you dont need to use a Maplin's UHF modulator. You can either split the feed from the cable entering the V+ or take a feed from your roof top aeriel and fed into into the coax aerial socket in the back of the V+ box . Then take the coax output from the V+ to your second TV. You will have to retune the tv to see the digital channel which is about 719MHZ instead of 823 Mhz . You may have to fix a 6 db attenuator onto the analog feed into your V+ otherwise the digital picture may be fuzzy. This may degrade the picture quality of the analog channels slightly. I found the maplin UHF modulator worked well but the colour on the digital signal was a bit red so I used the coax sockets on the back of the V+ Box and a roof top aerial feed. Without the aeriel feed the coax output of the V+ box only gives you the UHF digital signal.
