The Right Deal?

My Brother Inlaw want's to get Virgin or Sky to watch the sports channels, We have seen the offer for £26 with normal tv size, but he said that is just like a freeview box lineup so he wanted XL as he wanted the music channels etc.

I called Virgin and the lady said it would be an extra £16.50 to have the XL TV package which he did not seem to happy about as I pay £57 for V+, XLTV, 4BB, 24PHONE and a second box.

I said tro her that sky said £36 but she did not seem to care, and said that is the best we can do, so he has left it for now.

Do you think he could get a better deal and also what do you get from VM now for your friends and family joining?

I would phone Virgin again. it's odds on that you will get someone different on the phone and it can hurt to ask for a second time. You might get a better answer this time. It's worth a try anyway.
