Re: vote please Sky's basic Channels back on Virgin Media?

TBH I dont really care myself anymore. It's a shame about loosing stuff such as 24 etc etc but they are just gonna get more people downloading the stuff I would think.

Re: vote please Sky's basic Channels back on Virgin Media?

I voted No as I don't want to get ripped off because of Sky. I'd rather Virgin Media concentrate on adding more content to VoD.

Re: vote please Sky's basic Channels back on Virgin Media?

I had Virgin Media services at 2 propertys, 1 lot I paid for is at my mums, she's missing SkyOne and SkySportsNews, I voted yes because of that, as far as my house goes I've got myself SkyHD so it makes no difference to me.

Re: vote please Sky's basic Channels back on Virgin Media?

I've voted yes, because I as the customer do like to have the choice to choose what I want to watch, and the more choice the better. Ideally, the choice of what you want to watch should be your own, rather than Virgin's (them deciding on your behalf not to get a channel, thus removing the choice from you).

If it's just a matter of whether you would like to see them back, other factors removed (eg. hypothetical cost increases and such), I think having the choice is better, there's always the chance there may be something you like on the channel, it's nice to have the extra listings to go through in case something attracts you (e.g. a new series starting) so unless you really hate the channels and think you'd never watch them at all, surely it's best to have the choice and the channels available for those who want them?

Re: vote please Sky's basic Channels back on Virgin Media?

I would love as many channels as possible to be on cable and have even more choice in what i can watch and when, but i can only afford to pay so much for luxuries such as TV and wouldn't want the price to go up much more.

Re: vote please Sky's basic Channels back on Virgin Media?

Maybe, just for those whose life depends on 24 and the Simpsons, VM should buy Sky 1 at the asked for price then put it out as a stand alone premium channel so that only those who want it ,pay for it, and the rest of us won't have to subsidise the few.

Re: vote please Sky's basic Channels back on Virgin Media?

I think the poll question is a bit misleading. I think most people would take sky one back, but not everyone wants to pay much than they are paying at the moment. I could be wrong though ???
