Lightbulb Why don't they try this...

Why don't they just have the Sky chans that are going as an extra premium package, so that if those of us who would prefer to pay extra for the chans have the choice to do so, sky are happy, virgin are happy and those who want to watch sky but stay on virgin are happy....?

As explained in many other threads, it is likely that Sky are offering a package deal of channels at a fixed price, so VM would be unable to unbundle this package, to give sub-packages (it's how it's worked before with channel bundles).

Re: Why don't they try this...

hmm no as i only pay what do because sky 1 is part of it

i understand the virgin media stand point but it doesn't change why i pay for what i do

and being asked to pay extra for what i get already doesn't sit well

i will be off to freeview until everyone stops throwing their toys about

...or until Sky withdraw their channels from Freeview, as they intend.

no need for another thread on the subject of the sky vs virgin debate and the transmission (or non transmission) of Sky's channels on Virgin Media.

Please use the forum search feature.
