That I can get the new Virgin data update on my digital samsung box in Andover Hampshire as i still have the old NTL blue Background, which keeps freezing!

You prove that your box is faulty and needs replacing. They give you a new box and it downloads the new software.

Thats what happened to me, but I insisted that they don't give me an old Pace box.

Switch it off on the wall then before switching it on hold down < Ch+ >(on the box)

all 3 buttons need to be held down whilst it powers back up and it will update for you
