According to the article on ds anyway so virgin has turned down sky's hd channels

I think V/M are very silly not to take the HD Channels. In my eyes the only diference between SKY abd V/M TV is the HD

Yes OK i know V/M is better in so many ways but HD still stands out as the frount runner.

How silly it turns out to be depends what virgin know that we dont.
They may have a lot lined up almost ready to sign contracts on.

I don't think sky would have offered the HD channels simply because SKY are moaning and being childish about letting VM have basic channels. I do think though VM have got something HD in the works.

Total red herring. Sky can offer Virgin anything but unless they are offering at a reasonable price that Virgin subscribers are willing to pay for the service then VM have no choice but to turn it down.
