Channels down again !!!

Another outages to the television services, missing channels and no one to answer the phone as the centre has been evacuated !!
Is there no one who runs these centres think it would be a good idea to inform people who phone in that the "building has been evacuated due to an emergency" it takes 5 mins to set-up a recorded message !! I know as I do the telephony support for our Centre.
It is good customer relations to at least inform people that there has been some kind of emergency or a national outage but instead we get a dead line !

Five minutes may not be possible if there is fire or bomb alert.

Channels 111, 112 , biography to name 3 that I looked at but all are now back up again, tried removing power from the box and then switching it back on again but that did not solve the problem earlier. I reply to AndyCambs maybe you misunderstood my point about the recoreded message. In our area these are already set-up as standard from day one as you never kknow when something like a bomb alert or such like will happen and it takes us around 10 secs to activate

Service should be restored now. But the phone issue is ongoing.

I managed to get though on the phone to technical about 10mins ago , just tried to phone again and its off again !

I manage a call centre and set everything up, dont even take 5mins to record a message, just have it pre-setup so u can just log on a phone with a certain number and the message will kick in.... 20seconds max... every call centre should have this standard!

Channel 5 is jammed - think it's the cable problem. All other channels are okay. Is anyone else having problems with ch5?

All the subscription channels on our main box are showing as unsubscribed - additional STB is fine (at the moment).
I've tried the reboot twice and still unavailable - anyone else having problems?
I have ordered the new VIP and wonder if this has anything to do with the confusion as they will be taking one of the boxes away rather than give us a third - could they have already cancelled the main box in preparation?
Of course no one on faults line - only open 8am - 8pm

you could try to re boot it and see if that works

I've lost channel 5 completely. Is is me or has it gone off air?
