Virgin Media has today added the following channels to their networks

Ex-NTL have now got

951. Radio: Virgin Xtreme
952. Radio: Virgin Classic Rock
953. Radio: Virgin Groove

Also on Ex-Telewest

998. PIN Protection Help Channel

My V+ box is currently updating.
Any idea what might have changed in that, or do you only track channel changes - in which case where should I be looking ?

(edit: this appears to be a nationwide system outage, but the question about somewhere to track versions of STB firmware applies)

For anyone who is missing the pay-per-night adult channels which have been removed, don't panic! They are still available in TV ON Demand.

Would it need to be licensed just to replace SSX (effectively just a name change in that case). Sky need to be launching a new channel due to the increase in red button content, not replacing SSX.

I agree, but I did hear the possibility is Extra just becoming a proper channel, instead of an extra addition.

In other news, (something I DID post earlier, but hasnt shown) is Sky Movies on Virgin Media .

All of the channels, apart from the Family channel has been renamed.

There is an extra Space between the "Sky" and the Channel Name.

I believe this is so the new PIN system can be introduced, which I must admit, is brilliant.
