We are not getting UKTV Drama + 1. On $ky it only part time anyway ( 3pm - 2am ). I think they will be closeing that channel soon for an new channel.

The future is unclear at the moment regarding these channels because if they can't agree a carriage deal for a particular channel(s) they will be dropped from the ex NTL network.

I been told tonight most of the channels ie none sky owned ones will no doubt be alligne for the rebrand but the sky ones are likely to be the ones dropped.

Scuzz was owned by Sky when it started up but Sky sold their Music Channels to the owners of Chart Show TV about two years ago.

Are all Sky channels in danger of being dropped, or just the ones that are not on both the NTL and the Telewest networks, ie Sky Two, Sky Travel, Sky Travel Extra (NTL only) and Sky Movies 10 (Telewest only)?

NTL Telewest's deal with Sky for all the non Sports & Movies Channels is up at the end of this month.

Sky Sports & Sky Movies Channels are on pay per month deal with NTL Telewest.

But NTL Telewest may drop Sky Movies 10 from their lineup.

If NTL Telewest can't agree a carriage deal with Sky they will be dropped from NTL Telewest.

An NTL Telewest worker told Digital Spy forum "Sky channels won't be dropped, if anything it'll be the duff shopping channels, I can't see anything being dropped, we would have been told by now."

NTL Telewest will be rename to Virgin Media on the date 8th Feb not the 14th has previously mentioned.
