Question Re: Virgin Media News

OK so is there any were I can find what the NTL Family pack now has? and what it is now going to be called? Sorry I am a bit slow on the up take. Also
I have been offered 4 for £40 I guess the family pack ( or what ever it is called today) would be an extra cost so + what. Also while I am at it .

I have 2 discounts on my BB one £9 for 3 months & £4.50 for 12 months ????? Any idea what this is all about. I understand the first but the second?.

But I`m not complaining just confused .

I think the 4 for £40 refers to Landline Phone talk weekends + TV size L (Base Pack) + Broadband Size M (2MB) + Virgin Mobile Phone Offer
There is a 3 for £30 offer aswell which is the same as the 4 for £40 but without Virgin Mobile Phone

Re: Virgin Media News

I wonder how carriage negotiations are going for the following channels to get them on the ex Telewest Network

More4 +1
Sky Two
Sky Travel
Sky Travel +1
The History Channel +1
Bliss
Scuzz
Flaunt
Classic FM TV
Motors TV

The future is unclear at the moment regarding these channels because if they can't agree a carriage deal for a particular channel(s) they will be dropped from the ex NTL network.

Yep guess at the moment its what will be (family) XL 2megBB & the old 1,2,3 phone price( to be honest my bill is so low as to not matter on the call charge part).

I guess that anything will in the end cost more on the bottom line.

I want to keep the TV part BB 2meg is fine ( more is always welcome) & the cheapest phone deal. I have at the moment 2 discounts on BB one I understand ½ price for 3 months, the other while welcome is a puzzle £4.50 for 12 months?

They are in "negotiations" right now, but the channel listings WILL be aligned. Either they will agree a new contract for ex-NTL and ex-Telewest headends, or they will pull the channels off the network.
