Virgin Media have got the rights to Live Darts. They are showing the US Open Live on Challenge right now until 12.30am tonight.

You can see Challenge on Virgin TV Channel 152.

Re: Virgin Media News

Thought Id just point out that Virgin Media has been given a B+ in the Company Stability Charts, which means Stable.

Sky are BBB+ which is also Stable, but as more news comes out that Virgin customers "arent happy" or are churning customers "due to Sky channles" or "telephony errors" the company is still firmly on its feet.

Nice to see every Cloud has a silver lining.

Re: Virgin Media News

Louise Benham is to leave Virgin Media Television next month after nine years. Prior to her role as controller of the Challenge and Trouble, Benham was managing editor of Living TV, Living TV2 and FTN. Benham told Broadcast: "After nearly nine happy years working at Flextech, now Virgin Media Television, I feel the time has come to explore new opportunities. I've had a fantastic time working on some great channel brands and am looking forward to fresh challenges ahead." Earlier this month, Living director of programming Claudia Rosencrantz was made director of television at the company, reporting into managing director Jonathan Webb.

Re: Virgin Media News

Virgin Media hopes for TV subs growth Virgin Media has moved to reassure the City by reporting that it hopes to return better-than-expected TV subscriber growth for the second quarter of 2007, following strong performances in April and May. Mediocre first quarter results led the cable giant to forecast negative TV subscriber growth in the second quarter as it counted the cost of the withdrawal of BSkyB's basic channels from its platform. However, in a statement this morning (8 June) Virgin Media said it has "benefited from reinvigorated communications and marketing, growing customer recognition of the value of our video-on-demand content and the inherent appeal of the new Virgin Media brand".
