VOD Being Awkward....Pin problem

Have been waiting patiently for Waking the Dead part 2 to be on the Pick of the week. When there was no sign by Weds I rang faults & was try again tomorrow. As there was still nothing the next day rang faults again and told there is an on going problem with on demand updating and a fix by date of Jan 28th

Anyway checked again today and all is back to normal

except it is suddenly stating Pin has not been activated when prior to this never had a problem viewing any of the free stuff and never activated pin before.

Why does this always happen when there is no one at faults or CS to ring to sort it? Sooo bloody frustrating that you get used to and are happy with a service that then goes t!ts up.

Any help or advice is appreciated as always

Thanks SnoopZ! It is more that the pin has not been set up which is causing the problem. Bewildering as we were never asked for it before

Have you tried rebooting the box? Can you get in the engineers menu? I don't actually have NTL tv so i can't really help sorry. I hope you get it sorted.

I think it asks for a pin if you try and watch a programme like this before the watershed. Wait until after 21:00 amd it shouldn't ask for a pin.
