Question Holiday shows on TV ?

I'm on telewest cable in the UK and a few years ago i used to be able to watch alsorts of holiday programs on TV, but for some reason i can't find any any more. Well, Discovery travel & living has "a place in the sun" on almost 24 hours a day, but where have all the other channels and programs gone ?

Re: Holiday shows on TV ?

I've tried Sky years ago and wasn't very happy with the billing. I moved over from Sky to Yorkshire Cable and even though they ended up as part of Telewest, i'm happy with my cable. It would be nice if we had a holiday channel though. I just wondered what everyone else thought and if anyone knows if a holiday channel will be added to the Telewest line-up.

Re: Holiday shows on TV ?

Not sure, Sky has loads and to be honest they all look the same. Have you checked the NTL guide to see if there are any channel sharing?
Edit:
according to this
http://home.ntl.com/html/sorter/channels_family.html
you should have a couple of travel channels in the family or base pack.

Re: Holiday shows on TV ?

Thanks for the website, but i'm on Telewest not NTL. We don't get Sky Travel / Extra or Sky 2 or TV Travel Shop or anything like that. I pay for the supreme package as well and that's the one with the most channels.
