Error code on Explorer 4000DVB

Hi guys - hope you can be more help than the tech support at Telewest seem to be.

We had a replacement TV digibox fitted today (Friday) to replace a PACE box that stopped working on Wednesday. Everything was fine with it until just after 9:00pm (that's about 7 hours after it was installed) when it randomly restarted.

I phoned tech support and while I was on to them it did the re-boot about 4 or 5 times, eventually showing the code 6614 (might be bb14 - hard to say on a LCD display). As I was still on to tech support I asked them what this code meant and they had no idea. An engineer has been booked for Tuesday evening to replace the box again

I got put through to Customer Care to complain (the engineer was supposed to arrive tomorrow morning, but his paperwork was for today [admin error blamed]) and am going to get a free month of Broadband as I am not happy.

Anyway, anyone know what the error code means?

Cheers

Hmmm - 30 views and no comments - I guess no-one has a clue - thanks guys.

For those that may be interested, the box ran fine yesterday but today it has reset itself a few times in quick succession.

Guess I will have to wait until Tuesday for the new box

bb14 is not a know error, it's not listed on any diagnostic tools. Some boxes output messages that arn't true messages.
