Question Install query

Hi all

Am having the TVDrive installed on Saturday, and while my query isn't directly related to the TVDrive I thought I'd post my query here:

I have opted to have my existing box moved from it's current location to another room, my question is does the new cabling have to offshoot from where it is currently installed or can it offshoot from the entry point (grey box)?

Currently my NTL cable enters at the front of the house (into a little grey box thing) and from here a cable goes either through the wall or under the floor to the living room which is at the back of the house.

When the TVDrive is installed I want to install it in my 2nd bedroom which is at the front of the house. So rather than have messy wiring from the living room to bedroom, I'd like the cable to be "split" at the little grey box and run up outside the house and directly into the bedroom.

Is this likely to be possible? If not I think I'd rather forget having the second box and just pay the extra for the TVDrive install.

Any thoughts / experiences you've had with similar situations I'd be grateful to hear! Thanks!

Re: Install query

Yes the connection can be run from the grey box on the outside of the property. You will more than likely find the engineer will sugest it as it is a short run.
