Switching voicemail on/off ?

Done a quick search but couldn't find anything. Think I did ask this many moons ago.

How do I switch Ntl voicemail off then back on again?

I think it is something like *346# with some other numbers, not sure if you have to access voicemail first or just enter a code. That might be call barring though.

Bromley area BTW.

Re: Switching voicemail on/off ?

Think Marge knows, it is on the forum somewhere but I must admit to not having enough time to search as I'm off home. Will search for you when I get in if the query hasn't been answered

Re: Switching voicemail on/off ?

Cheers Paul, sadly my mum passed away on Monday and as I work for myself I am trying to keep the customers at bay for a few days, whilst I make all the arrangements etc.

Jim.

Re: Switching voicemail on/off ?

Hi Jim, sorry been in hospital so missed this....

The V/M is a feature that unfortunately can't be activated/deactivated by your good self, if you give C/S a call they should be able to turn it off for you no problem and then add it back on when you're ready

Sorry to hear your sad news......

Re: Switching voicemail on/off ?

Thanks for that, 'Marge' and for your condolences. In that case I think I will just alter my message for the next few days. Ntl voicemail is only a back up to my main answerphone.

Jim.
