Help! - Problem Re-instating Digital TV

Hi - Any suggestions please?

Have a new replacement Pace STB but cannot receive the additional subscribed channels, i.e. Family Pack / Sports. NTL have new Box & Smartcard No's but still no joy. (Card Status - please wait)

Any pointers to the problem / possible solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you fully power down (unplug at the mains), for say five minutes. During that time, take the card out, wipe it on a clean dry cloth, put it back in. Repower and give it a while to sort itself. It may then download.

It's a good chance that ntl haven't sent the signal or recorded the replacement STB properly. If it wont reboot properly, phone NTL in the morning. Their faults are open Sundays now

Thanks for your welcome/help. Unfortunately still does not work properly (not subscribed screen appears when selecting additional channels). Will speak to NTL again but I seem to be getting no where - they changed my STB because of this problem and it has not made any difference. Like you say, probably something wrong with the registration!

Definately sounds to me like it hasnt been paired properly and "hit". Give CS a ring and they should be able to sort this out for ya.
