We are having trouble with our PACE box (approx 2 years old) NTL tell us that the new ones don't have an audio output on them (ie and red and a white output in the back) is this true of all the new systems? Including the PACE and the SAMSUNG one??
It is true that many of the STBs do not have the dedicated phono outputs. On the other hand there are scart to scart leads with phon breakout readily available.
Indeed when my PACE was replaced with a Samsung, the engineer spotted my existing phon connection use, and got a breakout lead out of is van

You can still get boxes with audio outs, if your box requires swapping ask the tech if he has a box with them on (he should have at least 1 on his van) other wise you can get the scart as mentioned ablve from maplins, argos do them I think aswell.

Depends what we get from the stores. Phase 1's heve the red/white audio out.
