Ntls digital service sucks and, their analogue service rules and why dont they provide their customers with the option to choose analogue?

Because they are phasing it out.

Analogue services are on the way out. Even standard terrestrial aerial services are due to be turned off in the next few years, so everyone will need at least a freeview box.

In fact for existing customers ntl are still doing quite well by retaining analogue. Sky ditched completely their analogue a few years ago. Telewest I beleive are scheduled to ditch theirs too, before ntl.

For me, excepting the interactive services , whcih are uselessly slow, digital TV has offered me much more choice, and a much better picture quality than analogue ever could. I would never go back, and for the small extra charge over analogue, it's definitely worth it.

from what i rember of analogue , it was crap , crap and a bit more crap , if you dont like digital then why not go to sky , assuming of course you can get it

At 1:10am (or 12:10 GMT) every night (the dreaded blanking problem) and every time I press the interactive button or try to plough through the treacle-like 3 day guide, NTL digital trully sucks big time. The rest of the time it is OK-ish though (like when I'm just simply watching a TV programme).
The advantage of analogue was that there was no pause between changing channels (although you do get used to that on digitial) but also that you had a nice simple yet very functonal timer system for setting up one-off or regular(daily/weekly) programme reminders.

If you don't like the service you receive from NTL can I respsectfully ask that you go and find yourself another service provider?

If you have a genuine complaint about the service fine, if all you want to do is come on and tell us how much it sucks perhaps your time could be more usefully employed.
