"Framerate" dropping on my TV now & then

this doesnt bother me much however every now and then i notice a slowdown in the picture..like skiping frames....

best way to explain it is imagine you draw a cartoon and a slightly change on the next sheet of paper, then a slight change on the next over 100 pages, then you flick through the pages you get a moving image?...

well take a picture out of every 3 pages and you get what i get sometimes.

is this normal?

i havea 51" toshiba rear projection tv...100hz etc... only happens on cable...

Re: "Framerate" dropping on my TV now & then

Skipping frames does happen occasionally. If it becomes frequent, say more than once in an hour, and every hour, then I'd suggest something is worng and you should complain to CS. The signal stength to the STB may be too strong/weak.

Of course before you complain, make sure you have done the basics of swithing the STB off completely at the wall plug for 30 seconds, to see if there is any difference.
