Flickering

I have posted this somewhere else, but there was no reply so il try here, as i know il get a reply here

Well here is the problem, few days ago the picture from the NTL box starting to flicker, originally I thought that my TV was on the way out, either that or the video recorder, as my cable goes through my video. But now I have suspicion it is my box. As not only does the problem occur on certain channels but when i taped one of the channels with that problem on cable, it came out flickering on the video, and this problem did not occur while taping a terristerial channel through my video. Has anyone else had this problem before and is it deffinatly my Cable Box?

Re: Flickering

It does sound as though there might be something wrong. You should call faults and see what they have to say.

You've no doubt done the obvious thing of switching off the box at the wall for 30 seconds before repowering it.

These faults can be worse on some channels not others, depending on the frequency groups that each station is transmitted over the network.
