Problem STB/Signal or other ???

Hi All,
Over the past 3 or 4 days I've had the STB stuck on channel 0 with no channels available.
I've had the epg not updating (More than normal).
The graphics for the OSD disappearing eg. when you use the volume the numbers on screen but the colored bit surrounding it has gone plus bits of graphics missing when trying to use the guide.
My pin number has completely gone. Tells me to ring CS.
I'm getting 10 or 15 second blackouts every few hours. Like the 12.10am blackouts only longer.
I seem to be rebooting at least 3 times a day just to get things working or to get out of crashes. It's a Pace 4001 I've had it for about 3 and a half years (IIRC) and never had anywhere near this much trouble.
I've seen people on here with the same sort of problems but never all of them at the same time. So has anyone got any idea of the cause or do I have to ring CS in the morning and try to get someone out to look at a box that works fine for 22 hours a day and then is a complete b* for the other two.
*EDIT* The box has been stuck in "TUNE" on reboot too.
TIA
Rich

PS. I'm on Langley Original NTL if it makes any difference

Re: Problem STB/Signal or other ???

Sounds like the stb is buggered!Check the f connectors are tight.Remove the power lead, wait 20 seconds, plug back in.press & hold the up/down button until you see'boot'
Release the buttons, that should reboot the box.
If not ,call faults.

Thanks for the replies people.
Sod's law says that now I've posted this the thing hasn't gone wrong all day. I'll see what it does tonight and in the morning. If it starts again then I'll phone CS.
