problems on QVC, ITV3?

hi,
before I make a call to NTL, is anyone else having probs with QVC and ITV3 stuttering and freezing? The other channels seem okay, not that i have gone through them all, but these 2 have been like this all weekend?

and whats the 15X number for NTL, 150 and 151 dont seem to work, im sure it was one of them!

Hi bontrager

Both channels seem to working fine for me

I read somewhere on this site that they scrapped the 15x number, and now you have to call customer services 0800 052 2000.

I'm having the same problem with ITV3.
I was watching Overboard last night and the picture kept freezing.
Let us know what CS says.

Re: problems on QVC, ITV3?

When we had NTL DTV we used to get a fair amount of freezing and juddering of the picture despite several box swaps and engineer visits. This was more evident during hot spells in the weather. When it was a problem it was only a few channels that were affected and QVC was always one of them (ITV3 hadn't started then). Engineers said that channels such as QVC had a low bitrate so were more likely to suffer.

Re: problems on QVC, ITV3?

how could bit rate affect something like that? its just less data... I just think there was a problem in our feed, happens now and then, but normally is fixed the next day, not in 3.

ah well, not like im a big fan of QVC

that would explain why we were always asked by NTL to try QVC (I think eurosport was another...) when they had done something on our STB after having problems
