Lips Sync

Nope, not that 80's band.

Has anyone else noticed that on BBC1 on NTL this evening the lips and sound are out of sync. Just watched Carrie and Barrie and resorted in the end to going to analogue just to get them in sync.

Rebooted my Samsung STB and didnt make a bit of difference.

Re: Lips Sync

This rarely occurs on my STB - flicking between channels or 'channel hopping' normally corrects this irritating problem for me.

Re: Lips Sync

Hi,

I get this quite often, usually after a 1-2 second 'blackout' or pause in the picture. Last night was a problem on virtually every channel I watched? Ive for a Pace 4001...

Re: Lips Sync

You may need to download the LipSync Plugin though I doubt NTL support it.

Re: Lips Sync

i get this on my box as well. Have to change channels and then back again to fix it.. sometimes have to do this a few times.. if that doesn't work then a good old power off at the mains and back on will solve it.

i tried that and it didnt make any difference. Funnily enough since ive had the samsung if i lose any channels (which is the reason they changed the box) i have to reboot the box to get the channels back, however i often have to do this more than once to fix it. When i had the PACE box a single reboot is all that was required.
