Watching NTL in other parts of the house

Hi Guys
Im new here
I have a NTL box in my living room, which i want to be able to watch in the other rooms in my house. I can watch all trhe terestial channels in the other rooms as the signal from the aerial is fed into a 6 way booster which is in the attick, i can feed the ntl signal to it too, but the ntl signal interferes with all the terestial signals so im stuck to watching the cable channels in the living room only.
Anyone got any ideas how i can get around this problem?

The obvious answer would be to have more boxes, but these cost £15 month each. How does the ntl signal interfere with the other signals exactly ?

Re: Watching NTL in other parts of the house

Im finding that the picture is fuzzy when the tv does get the picture, and eventually it'll show a skewed, choped and discoloured picture of whatever channel is on the stb. But the sound from the terrestial channel remains. The terrestial signal is good and strong in the rest of the house.

Re: Watching NTL in other parts of the house

sounds like a 'RF channel jam', two RF channels causing cross interference.

You may need to change the RF output channel on your STB, there is a post on how to do this somewhere !!! but as usual I can't find it

[edit] found it http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/sh...ange+frequency

What set top box is it that you have?

How did the NTL signal connect into the splitter when you tried it?
