ebills and high charge rates

Having read a Which article on the relative costs of different Telephone service providers I realised that NTL are now far from competitive (see http://www.uswitch.com/ to see the differences).

Whether I use a different provider, with my NTL line or dump NTL I am not yet sure. One thing that I know we lack compared to most other moderm telcos is online ebilling, which is not available in my area (ex Diamond cable).

Is this going to happen soon, now the billing has apparently been standardised across the board?

Do not trust Uswitch. For starters they get commission on many of their sign ups, which hardly makes them impartial.

Additionally, we've tested them at work with ntl comparisons and also some energy comparisons, and a lot of the time they are plain wrong, or give differing recommendations on several entries of the same data.

They also do things like take BT's standard tarrif...which is now option 1 at £1 a month extra....and compare this with ntl's 321 tarriff, which is £1 a month less than BT but with dearer calls. The fact that ntl can offer an identical plan to option 1 but with cheaper calls, is ignored and BT comes out as being shown cheaper. It's false, and is exactly the sort of thing BT hoped for when they FORCED all their customers onto Option 1!
