Unhappy Goodbye Ryder cup

I was just settling down for the third and final day of Ryder Cup coverage when my stb went off. Happens on a depressingly regular basis, zero displays on the box, pop up on tv screen advises checking connection and rebooting and displays code MO43. A day later and the connection hasnt returned. (usually only down for a few hours). Its looking likely i'll miss man u V Liverpool tonight now as well. Is there any chance of compensation for this as i'm beginning to wonder why i'm shelling out so much money for a flakey service.

Re: Goodbye Ryder cup

Ring them up, you have a problem, and they will fix it for you if you call them and let them know free of charge but if they dont know they cant do anything. If you are lucky they may send an engineer out tonight.

Also have you tried rebooting the box again after the inital reboot?

Re: Goodbye Ryder cup

Yup, i reported it this morning, but as i'm at work was told to ring back tonight so they can do diagnostics on box....i'm half expecting the problem to have resolved by the time i get home as this has always happened in the past. Box has been rebooted numerous times to no avail so far.
