More channels for the base pack?
Over on digital spy, a member mentioned that they saw on channel ntl details about more channels being added to the base pack.
they were Cartoon network, discovery home&leisure, CNN and TCM.
are these being added then? which would make sense, as it will be more competative with topuptv.
(hope so)

I think this would bring it into line with the Analogue base pack then. You just have to pay £6 amonth more for the digital mind you. But then again the super duper service Digital brings is worth it NOT lol |

I think that whoever has seen Channel ntl has seen it on the Analogue service, giving details of the Analogue Base Pack. That must be where the confusion came from.

ah well. 
the channels should be added...the price is too high, and i may decide to unsubscribe (then get discounts from the retentions department!!)
telewest customers pay £18.50 per month and get loads of channels in the essentials pack...ntl customers get a poor selection at £19 per month (from june). a rip-off really.

Oh how unfair on NTL your being. You get these channels which are not on FREEview

Sky One Mix
E4 (Yep a pay channel which lets you see the stuff a little earlier than a free channel CH4)
CNBC (Yipee a news channel)
Bloomberg (Oh now this is great check your stocks and shares )
British Eurosport (A sports channel which is free everywhere else but UK plus has sport no one wants to pay for)
Now you can't honestly tell me you dont think thats worth £19 amonth now |

CNBC is more than just a news channel, it shows sport, and my favourite, show on all of T.V,
The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.

Yea The Tonight Show With Jay Leno which is also on FTN. Another channel on the base pack which is also on FREEview. Yep you pay nothing for FTN on FREEview |

its a little unfair saying you pay £19 for the tv base pack, cos you could count about £9.50 as being phone line rental ( yes i know it is included 'free' but if you have to pay for it seperately it costs about £9.50 )
its still a lot for the channels you get though.. although last time i checked the sky base pack it wasnt much better...
