Set Top Ariel - Freeview - Can I use one?

I posted about this a couple of years ago however things have moved on from this in relation to freeview.

Going by this link do you think I could get away with an indoor Ariel?

A set top antenna will only work in very good signal areas.. as you;re only 1km from Kelvindale there is a good chance it will work..

But that page says Kelvindale is only transmitting on Mux 1 currently and still only three Muxes after 28 Jun. If you want all the channels it will have to be Black Hill which might be pushing it at 28km.
Buy one that is easy to return if it's no good!

Do what I did - buy one from Asda (other supermarkets / retailers are available), open the box carefully so as not to damage the packaging, and try it out - if it isn't suitable, take it back immediately.

Try one with a booster built in.
