ITV 1 going HD from 02\04\10 on Freesat.
At last another free HD channel, no more red button, simulcast with SD material being upscaled  Well done ITV, just need C4 to hop on board.
Channel 119 on your freesat receivers. (Sky & VM as well)

No. It's an HD simulcast of ITV1. Some content will be native HD, while SD content will be upscaled. [Same as C4 HD]

The SD up-scaled looks great, I remember watching a film via the "other channels" section on Sky+HD and it started going into the news before putting the screen up saying not available and it looked quite good

Bout time, their HD output has been shocking, no surprise Sky wasn't bothering to carry the HD channel till now.
