Got a nice 1.2m dish with a very very very low noise block and a nice new DiseqC motor to put up to replace my other dish/positioner that I've had up since analogue days..
Messed around with it on the ground but need it up where the dogs aren't tempted to pee on it
Kymmy, are you aware that most motors that say they're DiSEqC and suitable for 1.2m dishes aren't? Go with a 1m dish if you must!

In all seriousness, unless the dish you have is suitably light enough for the motor, it will wear the gearing over time and cause it to play a lot, eventually requiring a new motor.
